This EGPWS FAM / Line Maintenance course provides an introduction to Ground Proximity Warning Computers in general and specifically the Mark VI and VIII versions of EGPWS for Business and Regional aircraft. Aircraft interfacing is discussed in detail with examples of aircraft configurations. Self-testing and data loading are presented in the line maintenance discussion. Sample installations are presented as an exercise. ATA Level III.
