The Solid State Flight Recorders repair course is designed to provide training to enable a technician to varify proper operation of flight recorders, isolate and troubleshoot faulty circuit functions, and perform line maintenance on Solid State Flight Recorders. Models covered are the SSFDR, SSUFDR, SSCVR, and the SSCOMBI. The course begins with a review of fundamental theory followed by a description of the units and how they interface with the aircraft. Taught to ATA 104 Level V.
