This course provides the line maintenance mechanic/technician with an in-depth knowledge of the systems and operation of the TPE turboprop engine. Practical activity provides a well rounded training experience and includes engine controls rigging, setting of propeller blade angles, torque and turbine temperature indication systems troubleshooting and calibration, engine run simulation. Actual engine runs provide additional understanding of troubleshooting and adjustment procedures.
